Clase Sencilla es el nombre con el que Paulino Campos decidió nombrar su carrera como compositor y DJ.

Definir su sonido no tiene demasiado sentido, no trabaja con conceptos plenamente melódicos o estructurales sino a través de emociones puras, es ahí dónde reside la magia de estos proyectos.

La repetición, el ruido y la sensación de gravedad es la esencia de sus primeros temas que ponen un pie en el ambient y otro en la electrónica más escurridiza.

Como DJ, no tiene límites, se puede estar tranquilamente escuchando un set de ambient y electrónica con muy buen gusto o bien dejarte los pies bailando con cualquier tipo de set animado. De sus estanterías puede salir cualquier estilo, idm, ambient, electro...  Se podría decir que lo compra prácticamente todo, así que es muy fácil verlo flexible a la hora de poner música en cualquier lugar.

Con más de 20 años de experiencia, desde 2007 hasta agosto de 2013 ha sido propietario de un bar nocturno con mucha solera en el barrio de Poble Sec en Barcelona (Rouge). Durante un año y medio atendió la tienda de discos barcelonesa Cd Drome. Actualmente lo podéis encontrar en la tienda de instrumentos musicales Microfusa (Barcelona) y a los mandos del sello de música electrónica Sin Hilo.

Several Roots Series 003 CLASE SENCILLA

The inspiration for this song came after a listen to one of my favorite guitarists/composers. His name is Nguyen Le and the song is nothing more than a reinterpretation of a song of his called Sweet Ganesh. The song, with a jazz/jazz fusion feel, is transformed into a fun electronic composition while keeping the original melodies.

L'ispirazione a questa canzone nasce dopo un ascolto di uno dei miei chitarristi/compositori preferiti. Si chiama Nguyen Le e la canzone non è altro che una reinterpretazione di un suo brano chiamato Sweet Ganesh. Il brano, di impronta jazz/jazz fusion, viene trasformato in una divertente composizione elettronica mantenendone però le melodie originali.

Melodic techno-pop-rave pioneers from UK, The MFA came to notice in the 00’s with releases on Border Community, Kompakt, Bpitch Control and Precinct, amongst others. Backing up the singles with a live show and innovative visuals, The MFA made their mark on the European club and festival scene and beyond.

The MFA’s debut album ‘Lights Out’ was released in March on Traum Schallplatten to critical acclaim from the likes of DJ Mag, Faze Mag, BeatBurguer, PlattenTests and Electronica&Roll. It was a rollercoaster ride through rave via the dance floor and the home hi-fi.

But returning to what ‘The MFA is all about’ this Summer the MFA live show is back - here is an hour of MFA tunes both old and new completely live with all the excitement, energy and glitches of the experience for Onereasontodance!

The MFA’s next single ‘Specific Ocean’ will be released in the Autumn on legendary UK Trance Label ‘Lost Language.
