On the B Side, we start with label co-owner and master of the groove, De Gama and his carefully crafted ‘Higher’. The tempo is dropped right down here, with De Gama showing his darker and funkier side. Like a joint Gil Scott Heron and Robert Plant fever dream, ‘Higher’ is an intricate lecture in immaculate beats, unimaginable concepts and chord progressions. Serious grooves. Very serious.

On the B-Side, Atchoum & Grincheux take centre stage with ‘Demokoussé’. Les Inferno applies the special retouch here, and straight away we’re treated to a gloriously produced trip through breakbeat inspired beats, deep, throaty horns and an outrageously soaring sax. Digital Only Extra Tracks: Reworks by Delfonic and Knight One

So excited about this new project!
DJ Supermarkt came across the rare private press Prime Time Band 7 Inch a long time ago, and since tried to locate the band to include the track on his Too Slow To Disco compilation series. After years he found bandleader Jeff Wollman, who gave TSTD permission to finally rerelease this funky space beauty for the first time on the compilation TSTD 4.
The story could have ended here, but Jeff and DJ Supermarkt went one step further, and came up with the plan to give the track to a few selected producers for new versions/reworks. We contacted our favorite smooth space approved producers of today, and they all said “Yes” and we are super proud to now give you:

Minimix: PRIME TIME BAND - Fall In Love In Outer Space (TSTD REWORKS 01)

The Black Light Disco show was searching for those things that go bump in the night and spreading Halloween scares all over the MyHouseRadio.fm airwaves last week.

And who was responsible for this spectacular ghostly show on Halloween night? Well, it made perfect sense to get (S)Pookie Knights to carve the pumpkins and dress up BLD Towers in cobwebs, blood and ghostly apparitions. 

Yes, it’s a two whole hour ghost train ride with Ashley ‘Straight to Hell’ Ellis and Chris ‘Mad Axe Murderer’ Jones taking the controls and kicking candy corns in the faces of anyone daring enough to cross the drawbridge to knock on our door. 

A spook-tacular end to a busy month, the lads will be dishing out the ectoplasm and disco scares a-plenty.

BLD Pookie Knights Halloween Special 2022

Hailing from Massachusetts, Ben Adams GMGN project has been consistently doing some great work on the nu-disco and house scene with a host of quality releases of labels such as Midnight Riot, Duchesse, Liztomania and more and has always come up with some awesome cross-over funky business. His work has a real French house vibe attached to it and Hot Digits Music boss Fingerman has been after a release from this guy in a long time. “Flame The Fans” EP is a labour of love for the producer and features some of Ben’s best work kicking off with “A Taste Of Space”, a floaty balearic banger with a baseline to die for and some superb sax licks. “Oh Hello” goes all mid-tempo old school house of us for another infectious number before he ramps things up for some peak-time funky house gear with “Match Time”… Pure banger! “Flame the Fans” in its original form is a looping Daft Punk style broken beat anthem in the making before label boss Fingerman turns the track on its head for his Jackin’ House remix combining disco loops, razor sharp Dj Sneak style beats and that all important drop!

The Black Light Disco Show returned to the myhouseradio.fm airwaves with another all residents affair to boot the Monday blues in the sweet breads and rattle the underpants of melancholy.   

BLD stalwarts Esteban and Goz were called up to christen the newly built Audio Biosphere here at the top of BLD Towers. First up is Esteban, who was pitching some mid-tempo vibes to start off proceedings with tracks from Ron Basejam, Fingerman, Lux Experience, Da Lukas and Birdee to name but 5. All building up nicely for the second hour where Goz pulled the handbrake and let loose with an array of up-tempo weapons from Delfonic, Charlie Soul Clap, Kristoff MX, Chewy Rubs and James Curd.
