So, I couldn’t create a tribute to Bon Jovi without recording a cover of the amazing Livin’ on a Prayer! (also called Living on a prayer). This is my piano cover of Santa Fe, a beautiful song by the legendary Jon Bon Jovi, from his solo album “Blaze of Glory” (1990). This song, like the full album,  is inspired by the film Young Guns II. Technically it isn’t exactly a Bon Jovi song, because the rest of the band aren’t involved in it, but it is by Jon Bon Jovi so it counts! I decided to do a cover of the beautiful acoustic version of Bon Jovi’s legendary anthem, It’s My Life. I absolutely love the original Bon Jovi song, both the acoustic and rock versions of it! The specific track that I have covered can be found on the album This Left Feels Right, a primarily acoustic album released in 2003. (However, the original rock version is on the Crush album). It’s not often that I record two covers on one day, but I haven’t been able to record in a while so I had a backlog of songs I wanted to do. This is ‘American Reckoning’ from Bon Jovi’s latest album 2020.  A good song for piano because of it’s sad and emotional mood. The original song is just beautiful and Bon Jovi have changed a lot since their formation in 1983 but are still just as awesome! Here is my cover of Right Side of Wrong by Bon Jovi, from their 2002 album Bounce. This is one of the slower and more emotional songs on the album and is perfect for a piano arrangement. I have been planning to do this for a while but it was hard to do so I had to do a lot of practising first! I used a website called E-Chords to learn the chords for this song (https://www.e-chords.com/chords/bon-jovi/right-side-of-wrong) and I really recommend it for anyone wanting to learn chords to almost any song!
