As the song unfolds, lush string pads and subtle brass swells lift the chorus, lending gravitas to the refrain “But love changes shape in time.” The second verse shifts into a darker, more spacious pocket, emphasizing the ache of betrayal and the resilience that follows. Mid-track, a piano-and-strings bridge offers a haunting, reverberant interlude before the final chorus and outro return in full force, layered now with guitar arpeggios and harmonized backing vocals that echo into a lone piano refrain.
