A long-standing name within the European electronic music landscape with over two decades of experience in the booth, Liège-based DJ and producer Jean-Yves Avarello, aka AAvA, continues to evolve as an artist. Making his production debut in 2012, he welcomed early support from artists such as Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Roger Sanchez, DJ Sneak, and Nicole Moudaber, quickly establishing his presence as a producer within the worlds of house and techno. Next up for him, early June welcomes a debut outing on Butane’s renowned Little Helpers imprint as he reveals a seven-track mini-album project, showcasing his deep and diverse range as an artist.
 
“During 2020 my productions in lockdown spanned different styles I like, which is showcased across this EP for Little Helpers. I hope this ‘mini-album’ will make you travel through different styles and emotions as much as it does for me.” - AAvA
 
Combining a wealth of sounds and influences from across multiple genres, ‘Little Helpers 379’ sees a melting pot of styles from across the electronic world. From the slow-blooming, melodic opener’ Little Helpers 397-1’ to the eastern-influenced, groove-driven sounds of ‘Little Helper 379-2’ and ‘Little Helper 379-3’, AAvA’s skill for weaving rich and resonant melodies with crisp percussion patterns quickly becomes apparent.
 
‘Little Helpers 397-4’ ups the energy and delves deeper, utilising an ever-evolving web of organic percussion arrangements whilst introducing rich keys, subtle vocals, and sweeping synths throughout ‘Little Helpers 379-5’. To close ‘Little Helpers 379-6’ builds things up again as refined kicks and warped vocals float around murky low-ends, before rounding things out via the slinking, infectious tribal grooves of ‘Little Helper 379-7’.

What's Good Desert Hearts Family!
 
Our 20th release on the label comes from long time DH Artist & Florida based gangster, Michael Rosa. It's been a long time since Rosa first showed up at our coldest Desert Hearts Festival to date as a wide-eyed 22 year old with little more than a T-Shirt, thinking he was in for a relaxing weekend in San Diego! But we've all witnessed Rosa's transformation into a world class producer as he steadily pumps out track after track of pure fire. Since the beginning of the label he's been one of our favorite producers and we couldn't be more stoked to release his 2nd EP on Desert Hearts Records
 
With this 4 track EP titled "Abu", we get to see the full spectrum of Michael's sound. From Minimal to Tech House to Funk & everything in between, there's something for everyone in this package. The EP only gets better with an ultra fat techie remix from Jay Tripwire to round the whole thing out. We know you're gonna dig this.

Bondage Music continues its ‘Home (Remixes)' package this July with part three, featuring Sven Tasnadi, Pablo Bolivar, Martin Aquino and more. Mihai Popoviciu: "The album's called "Home" because it is inspired by my experiences from my home city Sibiu in Romania. Home is also the place where the album was produced, in my stripped down studio. It is where I always return to rest and chill after touring the world and the place where I feel most safe and comfortable. The artwork shows an image of the airport lane in Sibiu with surrounding hills and mountains in the back. It is a metaphoric "gate" to both leave and return home." With ‘Home' gaining the attention and picking up support from the likes of Ryan Crosson, Luciano and Cesar Merveille, the Bondage-Music team now welcome to an array of talent to the label for 2017 as the LP is deconstructed and reworked across four brand new packages. Across the remix package Pablo Bolivar turns in a sun drenched acid-tinged take on ‘Sandstone', Frink strips back ‘Hypnosia' to a raw groove-led vibe and Martin Aquino dubs out ‘Sunshine' with swirling chords. Sven Tasnadi offers up a heady interpretation of ‘Music 999' to follow fuelled by stuttering vocals, stab sequences and a bumpy drum workout before Schlepp Geist & Krink's remix of ACK closes the package on a dark and brooding tip.

After his huge success with Memories of the Future Philipp is back with his new EP on Bondage-Music. Although he was pretty successful with a broader audience in the last months, Philipp still keeps his productions in the underground. With Who Is Who he delivers a rather techy stomper that sounds raw and analogue while fresh and modern at the same time. Pokerflat's and Bedrock's Stelios Vassiloudis delivers a very functional and contemporary interpretation of this song. In field tests, his remix was a sure shot when the dance floor needed to be filled. Make It Last is a rather deeper house track, that hypnotizes the listener with a laidback dubby synth arrangement and soft kicking beats. The very talented Swiss producer and Dj duo Sous Sol made a remix that opens up the heart of the house heads who are looking for tracks that play with the genre boarders. Definitely a must play. With three decades of dance music heritage to his credit, and a passion for music that is as infectious as his grin, it comes as no surprise that DJ and Producer Nils Hess knows a thing or two about getting the party started. Nils Hess label owner of Eukatech Records which started in 1996 and become Independent Record Label of the year in 2001 at the Muzik Magazine awards and is also a monthly resident of Supernova, the monthly club /promotion night at the Egg London King Cross. 
It is great to see Nils Hess making music again this time for Martine Record’s this track seems to have all the finest ingredients to get a dance floor moving. With a hook that entices you into the musical journey and the acid line which has a grin bigger then an Acid smiley, and with the vocal so lush, focusing on a white Surface and people making Love, what more can you ask for.
