My biggest struggle as a producer has always been trying to accurately capture the concept / ideas that I hear in my head.
Learning more and more about orchestral arrangements and programming in a DAW sense, has allowed me to ever get closer. 
I decided to rearrange this piece as I have always felt that years ago when I had originally composed this, I lacked the musical maturity, technical expertise (mastering / mixing) or virtual instruments to capture accurately what I was hearing in my head.

The second single from Keys N Krates forthcoming Every Nite EP, "Understand Why" combines loopy, pitched up 90s house vocals, knocking rap drums, epic synths, big bass, and haunting voices to form a genre defying banger.  

The track undoubtedly elaborates on the Keys N Krates sound developed in tracks like “Treat Me Right" and “Dum Dee Dum," which use morphed vocal samples and 808s to create tension-filled rap beats that are as anthemic as they are strange. "Dum Dee Dum" has remained a mainstay in fellow 808 enthusiast's DJ sets like Baauer and RL Grime. "Understand Why" is no different, having already picked up big support from the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Just Blaze and Salva, to name a few.
