Particle Zoo

This is a first recording on the new system I'll be running for future shows. Nothing is pre-sequenced, and the only samples are individual drum hits. This is a fully live show, of furious knob twisting and button punching.

I've been rewriting the software I use for live performances from some ancient-ass Max/MSP stuff from the pluggo days, to the plugdata flavor of puredata.

Hearing Bonefish Sam is like hearing the colors you see before you fall asleep, after a whole weekend of playing Nintendo. It sounds like a steady diet of processed cheese. It's like the urge to swallow mouthwash rather than spitting it out, a delicate combo of mint and alcohol. When Bonefish Sam is done playing, you suddenly feel very alone, and nothing will ever really fill that void.
