this is my hip-hop, my electronic funk. you will hear that it doesn't sound like anything else and at the same time it is always reminding you of something else because it is made entirely and exclusively with samples. some might say this is an easy way, that it's stealing others music but it's not, it's an hommage, and too me much more honest than people that say they were "inspired" by others but really were just making piss copies. these are always full loops, the samples go on for the full measure, they are not chopped up, and they are layered one on top of the other. it's like listening to several radios at the same time except all the sounds are synced and at the same speed. now sometimes it does sound weird, it's unusual, that's why I liked it and kept doing it like this. the first real hip-hop sound I heard was public enemy's bomb squad and I always wanted to create something like they did, that phil spector wall of sound effect of layering a lot of material to create music that is not in the notes but in the sound itself. they say a real song can be played on an acoustic guitar and it will still be a good song. public enemy pieces can not be played on an acoustic guitar but they are great tunes anyway : that's where it is, so here we go. I hope you like it but to be honest, I never made music for others, I made it for me and that's how I like it. If you do, I'm happy for you, if you don't, well I don't really care.
