The song sounds a bit like a river, trickling and meandering at first then gaining momentum into the rapids, into calmer waters and eventually out to sea. Organically grown from jam sessions in the Steel City, Bongo & The Soul Jar is a group of talented and experienced musicians.  No genre 'tag' fits our music. We get the crowds going: it's funk, it's rock, it's got soul... and the songs have all been beautifully crafted.
