Oculus is one of the titans of the Icelandic techno scene and has been one of its key foundations for over a decade. His live shows have captivated the audience with his exemplarary mixture of deep, innovative and hypnotic techno. His productions skills are unquestionable and we‘re excited to bring you four techno anthems ready to conquer the late night dancefloors.    

Nostalgia is a nod to the older days. Subtle blend of hypnotic mysticism and Detroit-style techno – a instant afterhours anthem! Rydgad is a handy tool for the DJs who love to throw a little swag to their crowd. Its minimal, but still offers a lot of little tricks to make the room work. Morph gets dark and twisted - with Oculus‘s hypnotic voice reassuring the listener in his native tongue that the he is the all-seeing eye of the Icelandic techno scene. The EP ends with the minimalistic mind-twister of „Flod“ – completing the first odyssey of Æ Recordings LTD.

Norwegian duo Chiraya drop their debut album ‘Gespenster’ on renowned Bergen-based techno label PLOINK this December.
Oslo artists Fredrik Fagerhaug and Alexander Ramstad aka Chiraya have developed a raw, analogue sound over the years, with live sets across Norway and releases on Entrepôt Records and Plant 74 Records.
Originating as an elusive Norwegian techno party, the illustrious PLOINK now welcomes Chiraya to their holistic roster along the likes of Skatebard, Prins Thomas, Mental Overdrive, +plattform, Joaquin Ruiz, Christian Tilt, and more. ‘Manefisken’ kicks things off with chiming cymbals, undercurrent harmonic strings, a digitally crunchy acid pattern and distorted bass drums before ‘Rabiat’ and ‘Anthraxion’ deliver jarring synths, tight hihats and flowing percussion. ‘Velodrom’ ups the energy with thundering kicks, 303 rhythms and induces an adrelinene rush with its break until the patch work of ‘Bastant’ subtlety breaks up the traditional four-four groove while ‘Abyss’ shifts the aural journey into a deep, echoed and enchanting dub frequency space. ‘God Morgen Norge’ closes the album on an atmospheric tip with stereo panning effects, haunting keys and continually fleeting pads.

Stockholm duo “Avancera”, consisting of Dorisburg and Kalawila, explores the void with their debut EP. Over five releases, Stockholm label Mountain Explosion Device had made its intentions clear—to release the absolute best in subtly morphing, psychedelic techno. Its sixth release is no different. The A-side displays rogue frequencies seeping through an ominous office building, as fully automated cleaning bots pass each other through revolving doors. “Skogenräna” adds an addictive percussion-based venture into the feral forests of their native Sweden. The remix comes courtesy of Berlin based
wonderchild Mor Elian. A mind bending desert trip from one of the most exciting producers out there.

Desde que inició la pandemia soñamos con ese día. Intentamos juntarnos en nuestras casas para bailar como siempre lo hacíamos, pero las circunstancias no lo permitían. El tiempo, que es perfecto, no apuró los sucesos, pues tenía una noche especial bajo la manga. Marcó día y lugar en el calendario. Domingo 15 de noviembre. Odem. Y ahí estuvimos, poniendo la música que amamos en los oídos de quienes se acercaron a bailar. Quisimos ponerle un anzuelo a la magia, por si aparecía, y la agarramos. Por eso, hoy presentamos, en +ruido[radio], dos horas de lo que fue nuestra primera toma de Odem. Vendrán muchas más, pero nunca una como la primera.
