In the late 80s and early 90s, we live in the influence of jazzfusion and was very good play and compose this musical style. I made this song in honor of one of the most important jazz clubs, fusion and Brazilian music in São Paulo, Brazil. It was there that had great moments alongside wonderful musicians such as Raul de Souza, Sizão Machado and Ronny Machado, Duda Neves,  Rhandal Oliveira, Sabiá, Peter Woolley, David Richards, Fabio Oriente, Renato Consorte, Olivier Marc Ferrando, Jimmy Junnoy, Geraldinho Vieira, Mané Silveira, Adyel, Claudio Celso and many other fantastic musicians. I come here humbly put that cloud my vision for this beautiful song of Ivan. Special guest of my dear friend Alvaro Dabus in Flugelhorn, who invited me to this challenge and to honor his dear Father Abrahim Dabus!

In the 80s, Cláudio Fazzio and I founded the Amatuza in the city of Bauru, São Paulo. We invite the Rhandal Oliveira to play bass and guitar. In addition to writing well, Rhandal had more experience and was very important to her musical background to the maturing of the band. Xitão completed the group with the battery. It was much younger than us and was just beginning to play but studied as soon as wake up in the morning until the evening. He began to take a course in Tatuí and so had the opportunity to play on two occasions at the Jazz Festival Tatuí. Then of course they came invitations to play at several festivals, universities and twice A Fábrica do SOM, in São Paulo. Program that has made history, revealing generations of various musical tribes. We'd like to play original songs and our idols, making own arrangements and was very fun and enjoyable. Five years of a lot of creation, which turned our lives completely. We also had the noble participation of Toninho Ferraguti, who studied veterinary Botucatu, Cláudio land and Rhandal and we were amazed by its musicality. With it, we made our first recording in a small advertising studio four channels in Bauru. At the end Olivier Marc Ferrando gave us the joy of playing our tunes and beautiful solos.
Now, after 36 years I decided to record the repertoire we were doing at the time, with Rhandal on bass and Max Sallum on drums, Cláudio honoring the ones Xitão and Olivier who are no longer here on our land. They founded a new group in the stars ... It's composition of Cláudio, Thiasco is a marvel. They will have several guests in this work we are worshiping accomplish. The recording is one of the recordings of preproduction made to remember and draw what will be the songs on this CD. AMATUZA. A sample of what we are preparing for the friends and fans of the band.
