I go in & out of being a tea freak. I'm a guy who orders his own bulk herbs & then makes his own tea blends. I believe in the power of these plants. Health, recovery, enhanced physical & mental performance. Over the years, I've made all kinds of tea mixtures for all kinds of purposes. I wrote this poem when I was initially entering my first tea obsession, & it's never failed to resonate with notes of truth.

This is a song I composed about 12 years ago, always loved the lyrics (although I did a bit of tweaking) but never could have the courage to sing it. So, I dusted it off, drank a shot of courage, and here you are!

Walls Are Coming Down

I wrote this song about 15 years ago after attending the funeral of one of my best friends who passed away suddenly.  I have played in many, many times publicly over the years, thought it was time to give it a decent recording.  Kept it pretty simple, a couple of guitars, bass guitar and hint of banjo for good measure!  
Life is fragile, we are all "living on the edge of time" so take a moment to reflect on how wonderful it really is.  It can all be taken away in heartbeat!
