A tribute to one of the greatest most influential artists of modern times. His creativity and outside the box artistry has influenced most of todays guitarists in some way. Half a century later we still hear him on the radio. We  miss you. We love you. This is a tribute to you. I hope you kissed the sky on the way to heaven brother.

Love the guitar and love music. Maybe its more obsession than love. I try to pour my soul in to my guitar. Its not for you but i hope u like it just the same. Sometimes music isn’t pretty and its not beautiful but for me thats ok. Life isn’t always beautiful and pretty so why should music be? Like Carlos Santana says he cant play the same song the same way twice because he plays what he feels and he never feels the same exact way twice. He along with the blues greats are my idols. Ive learned to play through them and learned a bit of how to live also i think. Buddy Guy, BB, Freddie and Albert King(the three kings of blues!), Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson and Cray, lightning Hopkins, john Lee Hooker, Johnny Lang, Howlin Wolf, Hendrix, Clapton, Page, Beck, Eddie Van Halen,  Kirk Hammond, and many many many others. My all time favorite and all respect and praise goes to Stevie Ray Vaughn. The God of Gods. Rest in peace Stevie. You left us to soon. I truly believe that if he had lived we might actually be hearing the blues on mainstream radio today. He is the reason i play guitar. Imho he is the best blues guitarist that ever lived. These are all guitar Gods i try to follow along with. These are the shoulders of giants that i try and stand on. My heart is in the blues but rock and metal and folk and classic i also really like. Really I like talent and it doesn’t matter the genre. I want music that makes me feel. Something that causes u to see the world in a different light is always amazing. Music that speaks to you. Im hoping that over time as i post my music ill be able to look back and feel encouraged and hear improvement. Improvement being defined for me as it sounds more like how i felt then i used to.
