Soul Khan, Jeni Suk, Knower, and Black Violin came to Bonnaroo 2013 to perform as the Soopergroop. Four talented bands made the trip to Manchester TN, never having met their bandmates before the rehearsal trailer at Bonnaroo. Four days later, they hit the stage for a 60 minute set as the Bonnaroo Soopergroop.

The Haybale Studio has become an iconic part of Bonnaroo backstage lore over the past 15 years. This truly unique pro recording space is soundproofed by hundreds of bales of hay stacked around the outside, making the whole thing look like one giant bale of hay that regularly swallows up talented musicians.

Over the last 15 years we’ve hosted up-and-coming bands like Cage the Elephant, Mumford and Sons, and Adele long before they were the headliners you know today. We've also hosted main stage heroes like Jack White, Wilco, Widespread Panic, Moon Taxi, Sheryl Crow, and alt-j.

You may have heard some of these intimate Haybale Studio recordings back home on your local radio station (where most of these recordings have lived in the past), but this year we wanted to give you something extra and provide a digital peek behind the hay with this select playlist of tracks. So go ahead and enjoy these truly unique recordings and dream of happy times on The Farm.
