""Forest" was made in the beginning of the quarantine lockdown. I remember that day very vividly because it was raining super hard and there was this ambiguity in the air of what the lockdown really meant and what the next coming months were going to entail. I was especially feeling super uninspired that day and was just going through old projects from when I first started producing. I came across this arp that sounded kinda cool with the real rain in the back. I started a new session and copied over the arp and it was one of those moments where the track just clicked and I was imagining being in an actual forest. My attempt for the song is to bring the listener into a mood of calm, yet also have a thumping bass to be felt heavily. This song is one that's special to me because it came together so fast and captures a lot of how I was feeling at the time, I hope it'll do the same to others." - AVKW

"I wrote this track while on a short trip to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington at the start of September. I had been struggling to create and seemingly in an endless battle with internal resistance. While staying in a little cabin on the river in the Hoh Rainforest I sat down one night with some intention behind what I wanted to achieve and an hour later I had put down the main idea for this track. I sent it to Josh (Goodknight.) who helped put more energy in to it and develop the track. We were hyped by where the track went and I felt like it was fitting to title the track "Intentions" to signify how having intentions can lead to breaking through resistance. " - Jandro
