I wanted to up the energy here with boomier drums, did lots of layering in that area. To give the track more variation for different verses I switched between 2 different flips of the first beat, and then changed the beat completely at the end. I went for a pretty drastic change in the vibe this time, the beginning is definitely way more rough and hardcore so I thought a smooth laid back beat would be a nice change.

Kept it simple with this beat, thought it worked with this acapella cause there's so many different styles every artist attacks the beat in their own way, and that brings the variation so not as much need to have the beat switching and changing all the time, although I did switch it up after a while. I feel like these sort of rugged guitar beats tend to go well with these 'mafia style' tracks too, just something about the feel of this sort of acapella goes well with this kind of beat to me. 

Got a full remix album dropping in April, holding off on announcing the artist for now, so thought it made sense to drop this one now as it's more of a standalone remix with so many dope artists, and all the verses are very strong too. Remix album artist is not featured on this track, I'll say that much.
