Hello all.
Here's a remake of the theme song in the old game "The Settlers". A tune that has stayed locked into my minds after too many hours playing this fabelous game.

The Settlers (also known as Serf City: Life is Feudal, original German title Die Siedler) is a slow-paced strategy video game by Blue Byte Software, released in 1993 for Commodore and Amiga, and in 1994 for the PC.

Hallberg - The Story Inside

This is the special edition for the book "The Call of Mektoub" which is written by the never ever sleeping genius, Helen Suzanne (aka http://soundcloud.com/sleepingenius).

The brilliant piano player and composer Dirk Maassen (http://soundcloud.com/ascoltadi) played this track for Helens book early in May 2013 inspired by Helens theme that was written by her in 2010. I got a request from them both to join in and add some orchestra, (Strings and FXs) and I would of course not let this opportunity pass.

"...The strange, tall elfin man stood up and walked towards the sideboard. He ran his long fingers gently across the cover of The Book. He turned to Emma and asked, “May I?” with his hand poised to open The Book at Chapter Five.
“Yes, of course.” It suddenly dawned on Emma, that the loose page from The Book, the shooting star and the unlikely meeting with Jack Frost and Tweeny Bunting were not a coincidence.
As Jack carefully opened The Book, a faint tinkling sound echoed around the room and a shower of magical dust burst from its pages. Emma felt Lucy’s arm wrap itself tightly around hers. She had just walked back into the room and had seen the starburst of twinkling dust from the doorway. Neither could speak, but Lucy felt her mother’s hand squeeze her arm protectively.
	Jack’s face was sombre. “Whipper Whopper has returned.”
Jack did not like Whipper Whopper. In fact, he loathed him. Merely the mention of his name would make the normally quiet and dreamy-headed frost-maker tremble with rage. 
The clock on the mantelpiece struck eight. Jack stared at it, stroking his chin thoughtfully..."

Short about me:
I am the father of two beautiful daughters that I have with my beloved fiancee. We live together in a house on an island in cold Norway. I love to listen to all kind of music.  The world that has opened up for me on Soundcloud, is for me a revelation. You fellow musicians are my inspiration and without you I would not have been doing this ... and that is an honest case ;-)

As you might  hear, is not my technique at the very top, but I hope you can hear some potential in my ideas.
I began with some experimental tracking in 1995 but had a long pause on the road(2000-2010). I started tracking again in late 2010.
Late 2011 I started to combine MadTracker 2 with Magix Music Maker, but it is mainly in MadTracker magic happens ...
I don't have any special favorite genre, but lately I've found a passion for classical / orchestral soundtracks and ambient music. (all genres)

As I said earlier, I love most of the music here on the Cloud, so if I have time, I'm always open to listen to whatever it is :-)
