Happy to report I'm up to four grooves for my next CD album effort of original songs.   The chord progression from an old jazz classic but rhythm, melody, lyrics and a pop drum beat make it a new song.  Now waiting for groove number five to pop into the old gray cells.

     Performed on the Yamaha S90XS keyboard.  1972 classic Brandy.  No over dubbing,  a live recording.   A little confusion towards the end but hey I never can play anything perfect.    Song is in key of Eb.

Performed on the Yamaha S90XS,  drum loop was made on a Motif XS6 and copied over to the S90XS.    Left hand doing bass and right little chord stabs.  Key of C not my key to sing, but in the duet setting my guitar player does the  lead vocal and myself  the harmony. 

04 Scott Hang On Sloopy

I think this is my best rendition yet of this old classic.   I'm now using a bass line in left hand.  Also I'm using my FC300 to switch to ARP set 3 realtime which has all arpeggios for the parts set to mute.    I release the button with my foot to switch back to ARP set 1 which starts everything again.     The right hand just does chords  Am7, Em7 and Dm7.

This old classic I thought was a bit Halloweenish.   This version follows along with he 1993 Neil Diamond cover of the song.   Just me and the Yamaha S90XS, recorded live!

For this classic I'm  playing R5R in left and chord tone arpeggio in right hand.    A demonstration I believe of what  http://hangwithwillie.com/   lesson number 6 is about.   Those little 2 or 3 or 4 note runs done and kept somewhat in sync with the beat of a drum move a song along.   Yes I do make some mistakes .. but I'm also practicing .. to keep on going when making a mistake.  lol
