Insane in the Membrane Part II

It happened sometime in 2019, during a break between shows.
One of the members... maybe Abigail... maybe Addison... ended up stranded in Milwaukee after a van breakdown and a fight that no one remembers starting. The band split for the night; everyone needed air.
They found a cheap motel near North Avenue, checked in under a fake name, and spent the evening wandering through half-empty bars, jukeboxes stuck on the same three songs.
Every face looked familiar, but no one said a word.
They wrote “Strangers in Milwaukee” at 4 a.m., sitting on the motel floor with a single guitar and a dying phone light. The song was about that feeling when you’re surrounded by people and still completely disconnected, when every city looks the same after midnight, when even your own reflection feels like someone else.
The original demo has street sounds in the background, cars hissing through slush, distant laughter, a train whistle. They left it all in.
The final track became less about the night itself and more about what it means to keep moving after you’ve run out of destinations.

My love for bass music ignited back in 2010 with Dubstep and Ihave continued to explore the different genres and artists in the bass music world ever since. 

Drum and Bass is my go-to these days for DJ sets but I also really enjoy genres and some sub genres within (but not limited to): Dubstep, Hip Hop, Garage, Midtempo (i.e. Glitch Hop), House and more….
