About the EP-*
In love for the god of agni
Agni is a Sanskrit word meaning fire and connotes the fire god of Hinduism.He is also the guardian deity of the southeast direction and is typically found in southeast corners of Hindu temples. In the classical cosmology of the Indian religions, Agni as fire is one of the five inert impermanent elements (pañcabhūtá) along with space (ākāśa), water (ap), air (vāyu) and earth (pṛthvī), the five combining to form the empirically perceived material existence (Prakriti).
In Vedic literature, Agni is a major and oft-invoked god along with Indra and Soma. Agni is considered the mouth of the gods and goddesses and the medium that conveys offerings to them in a homa (votive ritual). 
He is conceptualized in ancient Hindu texts to exist at three levels, on earth as fire, in the atmosphere as lightning, and in the sky as the sun. This triple presence connects him as the messenger between gods and human beings in the Vedic thought.The relative importance of Agni declined in the post-Vedic era, as he was internalized and his identity evolved to metaphorically represent all transformative energy and knowledge in the Upanishads and later Hindu literature. 
Agni remains an integral part of Hindu traditions, such as being the central witness of the rite-of-passage ritual in traditional Hindu weddings called Saptapadi or Agnipradakshinam (seven steps and mutual vows) as well being part of Diya (lamp) in festivals such as Divali and Aarti in Puja

Moritz Graßinger and Martin Schneider, known collectively as KIDSØ, are renowned for the live aspect of their artistic blueprint, centering around synthesisers, drums, kalimbas and percussive instrumentality. With releases on esc/ctrl, Embassy Of Music, Springstoff, and several other well-respected imprints, the Munich-based duo now bring their undeniably unique sonic palate to The Gardens of Babylon. Joining KIDSØ across three awe-inspiring Deep House cuts on their collaborative ‘What If I’ EP is Swiss producer & singer-songwriter Natascha Polké, whose work is championed by the likes of Anjunadeep, This Never Happened, and Definition:Music, amongst others.

The first single to drop on the 13th January will be ‘What If I’. A track that plunges you deep into a pool of emotive melodic components that orbit the first appearance of Natascha’s sirenic vocals. Deftly driving drum grooves and a crisp percussive cadence steer the track forwards amidst a sea of modulating frequencies and sweeping introspective notes, resulting in a captivating opener.

Its soon followed by ‘Bloom In The Cold’ on the 27th Jan, delivering harmony-rich electronic prowess from the outset. An enchanting vocal topliner adds a tangible personality to the track whilst its analogue-focused musicality runs masterful contrast of soft and gritty, carving out a touching ebb and flow from start to finish.

Finally, closing out the whole release is ‘Seven Nation Army’ released as a single on the 10th February. A head-turning sense of nostalgia with the uniquely re-sung rendition of The White Stripes’ iconic hit. More delightfully deepened flavours are on offer here, with a pleasantly melancholic vibe born from endless layers of intricately woven chords and stabs. A truly standout
   
record, it brings an extraordinary close to this complete masterclass from three of Europe’s most talented electronic artists. A truly special release to kick start the new year off for the artists and label.

Talented Birmingham producer and DJ, Subb-An, joins the mobilee label for the first time ever in remixing And.Id's 2010 mobilee hit, "Erotica".

Subb-An started out producing heavily and taking-on local residencies eventually cultivating a huge following and winning over the respect and admiration of key electronic music labels and figures. Releasing on Crosstown Rebels, Spectrical, Saved, and My Favourite Robot, in addition to cranking out distinguished remixes of Jamie Woon, Lana Del Ray, Noir & Haze and, Hollis P Monroe, Subb-An's hard work and drive didn't go unnoticed as he rattled the international circuits, subsequently, appearing behind the decks of highly acclaimed festivals, parties, and venues such as Fabric, Watergate, Warehouse, D'Edge, Movement, The Electric Pickle, Hot Natured at Sonar, The Garden Festival, Basics, Space in Ibiza, and BPM Festival. 

Originally released on the mobilee 065, "Erotica" is one third of the EP, "I Will Be There", and is And.Id's most successful mobilee hit to boot. Mobilee's long-running relationship with Subb-An stems eight years ago during a showcase in Birmingham where they were acquainted with Subb-An as a fresh and driven resident DJ not yet resting on his laurels. Since then, he's been named DJ Magazine's "Best Breakthrough DJ" and together with Adam Shelton, has launched his own label, One Records, in 2009, and purchased a pub venue where him and Adam have hosted the likes of Sven Väth, Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, and Mathias Tanzmann, winning the hearts of locals, filling up over capacity, often selling out of tickets, and using the venue as a means to experiment and impress.

All systems were go when the Mobilee heads were approached by Subb-An himself about re-releasing. This summer is sure to re-spark the love of „Erotica".

The musical journeys of Dance Spirit and David Scuba alike have been defined by a unique sense of perpetual evolution and sonic exploration. As its name implies, Dust is primed for the most tribal dance floors of the international House and Techno communities. From the spaced out percussive wonder of the EP’s title track, to the throbbing yet playfully distorted vocal samples of ‘Cactus Cloud’, right into the woefully experimental synth work of ‘Mirage’, the release delivers a murky dreamstate of massive proportion. 

Hailing from Barcelona, Christopher Mohn and Reagan Denius of Dance Spirit bring to this collaboration years of experience and countless releases on premiere labels like Maison D’Etre, Superfreq, Kindisch, Culprit, Akbal Music, and Endless. Their refined take on Techno calls on heavy layering and effortlessly rolling low ends to produce minimal yet vibe ridden 4/4 masterpieces. A renowned live show has landed them at Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Piknik Electronic, City Fox, Sacbe and of course on the dusty helm of the Desert Hearts Festival. 

David Scuba’s impeccable taste for swelling basslines and crowd carrying anthems has earned him an industry wide reputation amongst fans and heads alike. His invaluable founding membership of Mr. C’s Superfreq has seen David’s role within the label and partysquad sprawl from resident DJ to promoter - carrying him from Detroit and Bogota to Mexico’s BPM Festival and fabric London. He too has flexed his irrefutable knowledge of the life atmosphere at Desert Hearts Festival, playing one of the most talked about sets of the Three Year Anniversary Festival this past November.

The opening track, ‘Kundalini’, sets the tone with an uplifting intro to a emotionally-hitting EP held together by progression and drive. Second up is ‘Midnight’, a warm melody turned into a full-on club anthem  with moody bass sequencing and heart wrenching breakdowns. The EP’s closer is ‘Solis’ - is a metaphor for the EP’s inevitable and anticipated effect on South Africa’s festival landscape in the upcoming 2018/19 season.

C.Vogt & Patrick Jeremic - After All It's Us (Original Mix) [Rebirth]

Berlin-based duo Booka Shade, aka Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier, have carved out a reputation as one of the most celebrated electronic acts to come out of Europe over the past two decades. 

With their beginnings in Frankfurt and their sights originally on synth-pop, the duo Booka Shade quickly gained a strong following within electronic music, and in 2002 the pairing formed the now legendary dance label Get Physical Music (together with M.A.N.D.Y., Thomas ‘DJ T.’ Koch and Peter Hayo), where they would have a platform for their own music. 

Three years later, in 2005, their EP’s ‘Mandarine EP’ and ‘Body Language’ - the latter co-produced with M.A.N.D.Y. - launched Booka Shade into the stratosphere with both EPs becoming international successes, whilst the following years soon welcomed an extensive body of work featuring a combination of stand out albums and singles that quickly achieved further global success.

Since their break-through performance at Sónar in 2005, Booka Shade have earned huge recognition with their innovative live shows, even being named one of Resident Advisor's Top 5 live acts in the world in 2010. They have opened for legendary acts such as Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk, whilst headlining stages at the likes of Coachella, Glastonbury, Rock Werchter, and Red Rocks just to name a few. In recent years, the band has appeared amongst the likes of DJ Mag’s ‘Alternative Top 100 DJ List’ (2018), whilst their notable live sets have led to key mentions amongst a host of distinguished festival reviews and round-ups, including placement within DJ Mag’s ’10 Unforgettable Sets From The History Of Exit Festival’.

Booka Shade were also inducted into Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 Hall of Fame, having received strong support from the station throughout their careers, playing at both the ‘40 Years of Radio 1’ celebration with Annie Nightingale and the ‘20 Years of Essential Mix’ party, whilst also mixing Pete Tong’s ‘All Gone Ibiza’ compilation album. 

The duo’s fan base is in no way restricted to electronic music enthusiasts, with great success playing slots at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Lollapalooza, and more by utilising their massive crossover potential, which is as evident in their billings as it is in their remix credits, including acts like Depeche Mode, Moby, Hot Chip, Kings of Leon, Woodkid, The Knife and many more.

Add to the mix their Blaufield Music imprint, founded in 2013, and it’s clear and easy to see the pairing's musical knowledge not only as producers but also adept A&R’s, with releases to date on the imprint from both emerging and established talent alongside their own productions resulting in a string of releases and collaborations that can be regularly found amongst the upper end of Beatport’s Top 100 charts and championed by many of the industry’s biggest names.

Twenty years, dozens of EP’s and six albums later, Booka Shade have become more than a household name, they have become synonymous with the spirit which drives electronic music and have set a precedent to which electronic music is still held to today.
