Detroit influenced, Italian based producer and DJ, Moko makes his Motech Records debut with the ‘Chorder EP’.

Moko presents two new tracks, the title track, ‘Chorder’, a perfect amalgam of deference to the sounds of Detroit’s electronic music past, present and future and ‘Sissy’, a driving, hypnotic, industrialized composition that is primed to be a late night dance floor burner.

Glasgow heavy hitter Boom Merchant remixes ‘Chorder’ further shuffling the drum pattern and bathing the track in an even darker hue of melodic sense and purpose which is sure to make this remix one of Motech Record’s most revered.

Boom Merchant is a peak time techno producer who delivers a dark and driving bootleg edit of DB Boulevard's classic track, "Point of View."

The edit is a pile-driving techno version in the style Boom Merchant has featured on record labels ranging from T78's Autektone Dark to his own imprint Tribal Pulse.

DB Boulevard's "Point of View" is an anthemic house track with an iconic vocal that has enraptured dance floors since its initial release in 2003. This track is an edit of the Lange remix that added euphoric elements to the original, and Boom Merchant has worked in his own hard-hitting techno percussion.

Originally from Ireland, but currently living between Glasgow (Scotland) and Mexico City (Mexico), Boom Merchant has an international following leading to DJ gigs in destinations ranging from Germany to Japan. This unofficial edit has been a consistent crowd-pleaser in his DJ sets, and after numerous requests from other DJs, he has decided to make the bootleg available to others.

After a percussive intro with ominous tension created by Boom Merchant's industrial drums, the edit introduces the iconic vocal after the first breakdown. Boom Merchant also adds his own gritty bassline that contrasts with the suspense building euphoric pads, which give this edit a hands in the air vibe.

This edit is a not-for-profit piece of music that pays homage to the original recording. At no point will this version ever go on sale without consent from the copyright owner. Boom Merchant makes no claim to own any of the samples from the original recording, and anyone who supports this edit is encouraged to purchase the original track or Lange remix, as a sign of respect to DB Boulevard's iconic classic.

Fresh from his recent release on Sisko Electrofanatik's Gain, Boom Merchant continues to blossom into one of techno's most dynamic artists. Not only has he been releasing regularly on Tribal Pulse, his music can also be found on other prestigious imprints such as T78's Autektone Dark.

Originally from Ireland but currently living in Mexico, Boom Merchant has an international fanbase and he's played shows everywhere from Germany to Japan. His trademark style combines gritty percussion with ominous synths to create tracks with explosive energy.

"Acapulco" layers soulful vocal snippets with a lurching bassline and lead synth with undertones of euphoria, while the driving percussion delivers a relentless energy.

"Dadle" has a hammering kick drum and throbbing bassline forming a framework for a fluttering lead synth that augments a jazz flute melody. It's a hypnotic and unique track that combines intense electronic sounds with organic tones.

"Fivejag" has heavy breakbeat percussion and fragmented synths underlined by a thickset bassline. It's a ferocious track with a dance floor orientated energy and dystopian vibe.
