This Sangoma episode features DJ sG4rY, an anthropologist, general adventurist, humorist, academic scholar and Psychedelic Trance DJ with more than one decade of international experience. He represents the labels Sangoma Records as well as Purple Hexagon Records with his side project Brot3rys together with DJ Merry:) Creating a journey sui generis for his listeners is his biggest aspiration. Psychedelic Trance has to be approached from different angles, using the many colourful vibrations it offers. Therefore, sG4rY likes to play sets as long as possible in order to draw from the different musical influences he gets from befriended artists, musicians and freaks around the globe. Nightly journeys that disscolve towards the first glimpses of the new day as well as sending the crowd into the night with a powerful kick off, or even sunny variations with non-cheesy hypnotic daytime trance are all part of his repertoire. This 'Deep, Down & Dirty' mix represents a journey through the music he likes to play these days and mirrors the variety of styles he likes to include into his DJ-Sets.

Ritornello is a collaborative musical puzzle featuring Megalopsy, Elowinz and Derango. This special piece features tracks with friends such as Atriohm, Zik and Del Torto. All the music in this album are collaborations involving the artists mentioned above.

This release comes in a special format with a laser cut wooden box designed by Swayatra holding within a puzzle game including a board, cards and instructions. The main artwork was done by Whrikk and cover by Gaoshan. The music comes in a USB stick and the solution of the puzzles includes interacting with every element present. The puzzle will take you beyond the release in order to be solved. There is a prize for whoever solves it. Good luck and stay sharp…
