Anjunabeats are proud to announce the release of the debut album from long standing label artist and Anjuna family member Boom Jinx, titled ‘No Answers In Luck’ (released 30 October).

The saying - “all good things come to those who wait” – couldn’t be truer for fans of the very talented and highly versatile writer, producer, sound designer, DJ and musician Øistein Johan Eide, better known as Boom Jinx. Throughout a creation process spanning many years, “Schtein” (as he’s known) has been carefully sculpting his masterpiece with expert precision and meticulous attention to detail.

Cutting an enigmatic figure in the Anjuna family and creatively responsible for some of the most intricate and beautiful music released on Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep - ‘Keyboards Cowboys’, ‘To The Six’ and ‘When You Loved Me’ to name but a few – ‘No Answers In Luck’ is an eclectic, 13-track selection of modern electronic music, showcasing the Norwegian's ear for engaging club tracks and delicate, melodic productions.

The album features a number of collaborators from Anjuna family members with the likes of vocalist Justine Suissa on the beautiful ‘Half The Man’, Canadian Colin Fisher aka Soundprank on ‘Don’t Let Me Go’ and the soulful ‘Running Away feat. Janai’. Further vocal contributions come from Aruna, Meredith Call, and Kerry Leva. The new single from the album, ‘Bring Me Back Around' with Meredith Call will be available for download on September 11, along with previously released single ‘The Dark’ (also with Meredith Call) which received support from heavyweights such as Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren and Audien, amongst others.

Øistein’s music career spans over 20 years, having worked on music for advertising, video games, TV and film - including the biggest TV series at the time ‘CSI: Miami’ and ‘CSI: Las Vegas’, plus Electronic Arts’ ‘Need For Speed: Shift’. 6 years after creating the Boom Jinx guise, this album could well be his most defining moment to date.

The first phase of Boom Jinx’s album tour commences in the USA in November, stopping off in Chicago, Toronto, Seattle and Boston, with more dates lined up for early 2016.

With Vintage & Morelli's debut artist album just around the corner, it's our great privilege to present the standout first single, "Daydream". Premiered recently on Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy" radio show, this breathtaking track not only best represents the Serbian talent's dynamic and versatile sound, but also is truly one of his finest compositions to date.

A patient, heavily filtered groove and piano-based lead set a deep and mysterious tone in the early going. The sensual soundscape is enhanced by haunting vocal accents, as well as resonant bass layers (an artist signature). As the opening build begins to wind back down, gorgeous piano lines begin to emerge, setting the stage for an awe-inspiring breakdown. Specifically, in the break, the emotive piano theme is joined by a plaintive "Who are you" vocal refrain. Energetic, trance-influenced synths follow, creating an aura of almost overwhelming suspense. Finally, the deep rhythm drops back into the mix, which crescendoes to absolutely glorious effect.

The incomparable Shingo Nakamura begins his eighth year as a contributor to our imprint with the one and only remix of "Daydream". Fans of the Japanese virtuoso are already well aware that he is capable of writing superlative music in a wide variety of genres; given the deeper vibes in the original mix, he has chosen to inject a shot of adrenaline into his interpretation. Side-chained pads and electrifying chords establish the peak-hour sound early. In the breakdown, the gorgeous piano motif from the original mix is solo'd and then later joined, once again, by layered, goosebumps-inducing pads and chords. The drop to follow is absolutely thrilling -- easily one of the most emotive, intelligent, and anthemic arrangements of Shingo's storied career.

Through muted melodic undertones, Russian craft and Spanish flair take a harmonious voyage across prairie province as Mango and Gullen visualise "Manitoba" in sonic form. Windswept landscapes reveal abstract patterns across fields of corn, sunlit in glorious autumn technicolour. Whispering vocal phrases catch on the cool air, drifting in reverberating sound waves.

Above and beyond, UK vision finds a pulsating edge in Marsh. Rasping bass pulses in waves across a golden glow. A sonic path forged within a mountain of glacial calm. Simple motifs vie for attention against soft vocal touches, harmonies filter out across the distance in arpeggio driven bliss; the mountain flora ripples under light breeze.

Looking out over Brighton peer, Sinerider envisions "Manitoba" landscape. Sweeping textures create a world of majestic solitude – ethereal in nature, haunting by design. Disparate motifs rise and drop, barely heard as they tumble and fall against the cavernous reverb of a hard-edge mountainside, softened by the sonic washes that continue into eternity.
