Recorded live at a friends sun-drenched outdoor gathering at the stunning Oxbow river complex in 2019. (Big up Amity Group) 

I had honestly forgot everything about this mix until Rob from Deep N Bass reminded me that I had done one for them last weekend. We popped it on at our SuperBros weekend and I got to hear it more or less for the first time. 

For the mix cover I grabbed 8 different types of topographic maps of Oxbow Regional Park and used noise to collage between them.

With his shortly forthcoming release for Aufect Recordings, the Doctor has been focusing his recent efforts on the burgeoning realm of hybrid 160/170 bpm bass music. As such, it's only appropriate that his Booms and Claps Guest Mix would feature the freshest and most forward-thinking of those sounds: deep, dark, high tempo, halftime madness.
