For the past five years, Boomslang, an ancient god-serpent, has ruled over the shattered Neurofunk landscape, lurking in the depths beneath a dying world. The desolate land above is bleak, where sound is scarce and hope is even scarcer. Wandering travelers, desperate and broken, stumble through the ruins, only to fall into a deep, dark pit hidden beneath their feet. As they plummet into the abyss, they are drawn into Boomslang’s domain—a labyrinth of darkness pulsing with low-end frequencies and forbidden rhythms. In this underground lair, the air is thick with tension, and the serpent’s presence is felt in every rumble of the bass.

The travelers soon realize they are in the presence of something far greater than themselves. Boomslang, once revered in ancient times for its serpentine wisdom and control over sound, now reigns as the unseen deity of this dystopian underworld. The travelers, trapped in its coils, are offered a choice: succumb to the void or embrace the serpent’s dark power. In a dimly lit, claustrophobic jail cell, a man named Evan sits trembling in the shadows. His once sharp features are now gaunt, his eyes wide with fear and desperation. The cold steel bars enclose him like a cage of nightmares, and the walls seem to close in a little more with every passing hour. His mind, unraveling, plays tricks on him-whispers echo from nowhere, shadows stretch unnaturally long, and every creak feels like the approach of something sinister.

Evan isn't just imprisoned by the bars of the cell but by the guilt and torment of the crime he's convinced himself he didn't commit. The isolation gnaws at him, day and night, amplifying his suffering. Each passing moment in the dark confines of the cell erodes his grip on reality.
