Going to be making an 8-bit song. Here's the drum pattern so far. Hope ya'll like. I created the waveforms (what a pain in the butt it is to learn that stuff.) The physics of sound are amazing but it's a pain at times. But yeah this one's made entirely from scratch and effort. Hope you all like it!

Hey all, took some time and made a mashup/remaster of "Mega Turrican's" post-apocalyptic  theme. That is, level 3. The biggest punch in the balls to that point in the game. Level 4 1-4 is a bigger one, but hey, always nice to remind ourselves how bad it hurt. Anyway all copyrights go to Chris Huelsbeck, the ost's creator. Hats off to him for making an absolutely bad ass soundtrack! Hope you guys are having a wonderful day. Don't get hit too hard.

Something I threw together over the period of about 3 weeks. Took 3 revisions to truly finish. Much inspired by boss fights in video games I played in the past. I ended up paying all melodies in the song utilizing VST synths. I hope you all like it!

Phantom in the Machine  (A Song Inspired by Boss Fights Past)

This song was a little piece I've developed through my improvisational and tonal practices. I don't read music, but am teaching myself to. I've played piano for almost two deacades now, and all I play is largely by ear and the mathematics involved in chords and tonal relations (i.e. thirds, fifths, and chord structures.) This piece is dedicated to our lost baby in 2017. My wife and I never got to meet the baby we had "codenamed" Junebug, as the child was meant to be born in June, but sadly, our lived took a different turn. We continued on, tried again and now have a little son who was born last July. This song signifies, and is dedicated to the memories we never had, and our little sky baby we never met.

This song was one I wrote in a state of deep self-questioning, in deep soul searching. Often the complexities of life disallow us to gaze inside, to face the music of what's truly deep within. We get so sped up by life. We forget what it means to truly relax, to truly decompress, and that slowly but surely shows to those around us. If we just sat down to feel for a brief moment, maybe our souls wouldn't face so much trouble inside of us. Maybe we could see the world through innocent eyes again, not burdened by the cares of this world. Just maybe for one moment, we can find serenity and peace from the toil within.
