Born and raised on the island of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, Boomwah always had a passion for music. As a child Boomwah was exposed to multiple genres of music to include Rap, R&B, Soca, Calypso, and Reggae. Boomwah would first start writing raps ,under his then name Nova, due to the musical selection him and his brothers were exposed to while around their Uncle. The influence of Jayz, Biggie, DMX, and Tupac just to name a few, gave Boomwah a respect for lyrical content and wordplay. The likes of Bounty Killa, Buju Banton, Beenie Man, up to Vybz Kartel, served and the perfect counterpart from Boomwah's first love, Reggae Music. In 2019 Boomwah released his official single "No Dikembe", a tune that is sure to set "ah vibe" on any dance floor.
