Hey fam, much love. Happy to release my first Breakbeat DJ Mix :) It was strange in that it came so naturally even though I'm brand spankin' new with explorin' this genre. Given that I started break dancing and Emcee'ing since 10-12 years old, it kinda makes sense. These are some fun producers. 

I added Jim Carrey Ace Ventura samples throughout, did some really weird & super-challenging tempo shifts, and named it "Breaks Ventura". The flow felt right.

NOTE: It's hella funny, I go out of my way to make sure I don't mix a producer more then once or twice to have diversity, but I'm still getting used to moving from DJ'ing with Ableton to my DDJ-RX3, so I promise I was trying my best to look at the names on the menu/screen and It turns out I haven't figured it out yet enough, cause I played way too many of certain producers lol. But I guess that's a good thing, check their music, they are amazing :). This was a freestyle

A comedy genius who left the physical planet a bit too early. But he is still with us always in spirit & soul ;). Thank you for your contributions. The theme of this mix is diving deep with laughter, cause if we can find humor in the chaos in our lives, we can transcend the madness.

I recorded this mix while living in my trailer for 7 years. I found a super-cool BLM land spot in the sierras where I could perch up for a few days and chill in between festival production events. I ended up finding a perfect free spot 30' from a river with tons of sunshine to charge my solar panels. I dipped in the river and recorded this around 6pm as the sun was setting. After each transition mix I would step out of my trailer for a sec and bask in the beauty of the forest and smoke a spliff. All the power to make this mix was sun-generated :)
