Webster Booth sang in a choir of fellow Savage Club members, all foremost concert singers of the day, at the funeral of Tommy Handley in early January 1949 and at the memorial service at St Paul's Cathedral at the end of that month. The singers formed the Tommy Handley Memorial Choir and made a recording. Proceeds from the record were donated to Girls', Boys' and Mixed Clubs which had been supported by Tommy Handley during his lifetime.
