If you think it is purely the men who bring it hard behind the decks- you have yet to meet Hannah Wants. Miss Wants, notorious for her hard-hitting bass house style, is a self taught DJ from Birmingham. Over the past few years this new genre of house music has quickly risen to the forefront of the scene with Hannah securely taking the reigns as its leading lady.

In 2010 Hannah dedicated her summer to Ibiza to gain a concrete reputation as a house music DJ. Her unique and commanding style had a profound and powerful impact on clubbers and her peers, as a result she soon found herself in high demand gaining residencies, winning competitions and playing at prestigious events and venues across Ibiza.  The hype surrounding Miss Wants followed her home from the clubbing capital, and with each and every set played her popularity flourished across the UK. Locally Hannah became a focal DJ at Birmingham’s Rainbow Warehouse events and began to truly showcase her talent and authority at the decks. 

In April 2013, Hannah’s track ‘Dappy’ was released through Food Music. It found worldwide success and support and firmly established Hannah as a musical force to be reckoned with. Since then, Hannah’s tracks and mixes have continued to create waves, gaining momentum with every release. 

The future looks limitless for Miss Wants with a newfound status the true result of a well earned and dedicated effort – her ability to continually surprise and blow the eardrums of all who hear her work will inescapably keep Hannah at the top of her game.

Bootlegger Bio
The Bootlegger (Ryan Reuting) first started in Denver Colorado being influenced by the thriving underground dance scene. While inspired by artists like Uberzone, James Zabiela, Craig Richards and Phil K etc., he began producing his own original tracks while developing his own sound. 

His early electronic influences helped him develop a finely tuned ear for production quality. Bootlegger immersed himself in Colorado’s thriving electronic music community, gradually incorporating turntablism, complex break beats, and original digital music production into his live performances. Today his music is centered on his original tracks, collaborations and good old fashion bootleg remixes. 

While Bootleggers’ performances are heavily influenced by break beats, he is known to incorporate dubstep, electro and glitch- among countless other subgenres. He explains, “The main goal is always trying to stay current with new music while paying homage to dance classics.” The young producer also makes a habit of collecting cutting-edge equipment and software to enhance his live performances as well as his studio sessions. He feels at home whether in front of a run-of-the-mill set of decks or a plethora of digital and analogue gear made to destroy the dance floor and leave the crowd with something they’ve never heard before.

In early 2010, Ryan Reuting and long-time friend Jonathan Fox co-founded Kontact Productions L.L.C. with a mission to throw electronic music events in order to find a larger audience for our artists and eventually help expose Colorado’s urban art and music culture to the world. In 2012 Bootlegger was signed to a Denver based label called Elevated Movement Records. His Debut album is to be released early 2013.
