The international festival for experimental music klub katarakt does its tenth round from January 21 – 24 2015, celebrating this big anniversary at Kampnagel in Hamburg over four days with a broad palette of interdisciplinary acts. Featuring concerts, audio-visual art and sound installations, lectures and DJ performances, klub katarakt creates a field of experimentation for unusual experiences in listening and viewing.
The festival presents outstanding New York composer Lois V Vierk, German-Croatian composer Marko Ciciliani, Dutch audiovisual trio Telcosystems, US-american pianist Ju-Ping Song and Swiss percussionist Christian Wolfarth.

The first Turkish 12inch on Pudel Produkte aka the label designed in the master bedroom of european club culture — Hamburg's Golden Pudel Club. Compiled by Pudel resident and Outernational Deejay Gigolo Booty Carrell it assembles four amazing Turkish tunes from the tape era that have never been released on vinyl, three of them from the vaults of the legendary Cologne-based Türküola company. One stubborn piece of Donkey Fonkey by L'Orchestre Du Mont-Plaisant adds up to the hairest fun to be found in 2016. Everything is officially licensed of course. All songs are on vinyl for the first time ever!

Hava Bekteshi presents the past and future of (her) Albanian music
Listening to her pure vocal recitals, self-accompanied by the seldom heard Albanian lute Çifteli is a rare treat since this minimalist musical style of storytelling has become scarce even in Albanian circles these days. Maybe it's a bit out of fashion. Probably this is why Hava is a 100% self-taught musician. She manages to fill any concert with so much personality that you are easily drawn into the Albanian landscapes. On this particular night, she will be joined by members of the Intercommunal Orchestra. Together they are working on new forms of Albanian music that have never been heard before.

Ansambl Romani Japani was formed in Venice during »The Veddel Embassy«. The idea is the music trade between Romani and Japanese people. The musicians teach each other their musical background.
