The Tangled EP lives up to its name as an entanglement of natural percussive components forged together with textures and sounds from across the underground club music sonic spectrum. 

Tangled announces itself with the simple beat of a drum before twisting and turning through heavy bass, tension-building breakdown chants and rhythmic percussion. The result is a unique UK-Funky- and Amapiano influenced track that is proven to get your body heated, the sound systems vibrating & the dance floor oscillating. 

Backed with a remix by good-friend and SE-London based NOIRE. His carefully considered remix takes the original track into a heavier realm, whilst maintaining the rhythm and bounce of the original. Tried and tested for those peak time moments where the crowd are heads down and deep in the zone at 4am.

"BassToxic" is the first launched project of the More Bass Records Volume Series in 2024. I wanted to create an album series with variations/ angles of where the levels and energy of Chicago FOOTWORK music can go. Battle, Club & other Dance Vibe types.

Some spin-off tracks and music with inspired sounds and elements of a different genre. Pure positive or straight gritty from the beats to the saying(s). Created from the top of the dome & even by resamples of classic songs to present, we all win.

Alief's own Young Brown’s journey began as a photographer, capturing the underground club scene in Houston. Over time, this experience sparked a deep passion for DJing, and he’s spent the past year perfecting his craft. While his heart belongs to jungle and drum & bass, he’s drawn to any genre with fast tempos, heavy basslines, and soulful samples. His sets fuse the atmospheric soulfulness of Jungle and Footwork with the raw, high-energy punch of Ghettotech, creating a unique, upbeat energy for the crowd. Despite having DJed for less than a year, he’s already shared the stage with DnB legend Goldie and headlined events like Nights Like This. ½ of @lospolloshermanoshtx
