This mix focuses on the new sounds of Summer Sol VI, with a positive message of awareness weaved into the organic fabric of the music.

Hear the first mix of our series 'Sonic Expeditions' by one of our label artists @paaxtulum. Their music varies in intensity, tone, style, and content conveyed — “a total fusion like life itself”, as they put it. For this mix they selected music for the senses and music as a vehicle for expression, just like in their EP, Wallas, with remixes by Stefan Obermaier, Holed Coin and Pandhora.

This set has a different importance in my armada since Sabo is so influential for my music both as an artist and as the founder of Sol Selectas.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Podcast Series!

We are kicking off 2021 with an old friend of ours: Valeron

Generally recognized as the top DJ on the island of Mykonos, Valeron is definitely one of the longest standing and most omnipresent figures of the ever-shifting local music scene.

Soon after relocating to Mykonos, he became a producer releasing tracks that helped register his name in the Deep House and Electronic genre. This carried him through to becoming a founder of the Bercana Music label and releasing 2 personal albums already “Amare” & ‘’Aigaio’’. Valeron’s albums introduce a unique combination of traditional Greek instruments and Electronic beats.

Every Saturday at Scorpios Mykonos Valeron leads ‘’Scorpios World’’ where he performs live alongside Greek musicians of instruments such as the clarinet, violin, Ney,Bouzouki, Saz, Oud,Santur and many more. With lots of originals and remixes that had climb on top of Beatport charts, on May 2019 he will release his third personal album.

The DJ career that started in Turkey took Borak across Europe and to Los Angeles where he has played on stage at some of the top festivals in the world including Burning Man, Echoes From Agartha and Lightning in a Bottle Festival. At the beginning of 2023 Borak released his first EP under the successful Miami based record label “Magician on Duty” as he started a brand new chapter in his career. The 4 track EP “Le Magistrat” entered in charts on its first day and managed to become number 1 in both Beatport Afro House and Beatport Indie Dance Release Charts.
