With release nr. 11, Luv Shack Records are once again eager to exalt the diversity of their releases, while keeping up the quality.

LUV011 is the split EP of the two up and coming electronic music duos "Manhooker" and "Space Echo". Whilst both projects are still relatively new to the scene, they have equally made a stir with their first releases.

Manhooker consists of the two Berliners by choice Tomasz “Guiddo” Switala and Sebastian “Mavin” Magassouba. Their first release appeared on Ostgut Ton´s sublabel 'Unterton' and their second EP was recently released on german heavy hitters 'Sonar Kollektiv' - a collab with ex New Yorker Snax, featuring a remix by Justus Köhncke.

With 'Pushin & Shovin', Manhooker are once again evoking the spirit of classic soulful house hymns. It's an uplifting mix of 90s organs, filtered arpeggios and thick drums all held together by an acid bassline and Mavin´s shimmering vocals. And not to forget the trumpet solo!

The remix of 'Pushin & Shovin' comes from Brazilian wunderkind ROTCIV (who has already remixed Manhooker on their Unterton release). He strips off the smoothness of the original in favor of a more raw and analogue vibe. Its groove seems like a merger of modern electro and classic house, and although ROTCIV´s trademark stabs and pads are used quite ecstatically on this remix, the song structure remains just as strong as in the original.

On The flipside we have Space Echo, the duo of Viennese producer caTekk and (Luv Shack`s very own) Lee Stevens. Their first ever production as a duo was a remix for none other than Austra on Domino Records.

They're offering two equally powerful cuts on the B-side; 'Soul Power' is nothing short of a club burner. A mighty and continuously building ride of funk organs and disco drums, all with a delightfully modern touch. When the vocal kicks in for the first time, ringing in the break, the audience will surely fall into a frenzy when exposed to it! The disco guitars are just the icing on the cake.

'Soul People' takes a slightly more sensual path. Expect dreamy rhodes, dubbed out percussive organs, an almost reggae worthy bassline, a painfully sweet vocal hook and a sharp rhythm that make this track a perfect choice for every warmup, after-hours and daytime set!

With all its ingredients, LUV011 will provide something for everyone who loves electronic music with soul!

The Colombian producer Ravetop releases an EP of remixes that come from a raw analog track with down pitched and resonated voices that interact alongside a playful and unpredictable arp bass-line and solid percussion elements, resulting in a fresh and spooky new wave "minimal" disco flavor with bleep dry beats, ideal for warming up the dance floor.

The rhythm that borns of social isolation, the desire to break the rules with the existing alternatives, visions of the discotheque exploding after being shut down for a long time lapse, strident syntheses that converge with colored spotlights in the darkness and the uncertainty and relentless cyber future are mainly the sources of inspiration that came to Ravetop to give shape to this track.

Galope Messier brings a touch of Trance and "Proggry" vibes through the drops and bass line in his remix, followed by the powerful contribution of Fabrizio Mammarella, who turn the essence of the original track into a peak time arpegiated Italo Body Music bomb perfect for the most rave-heads club warriors.

The release is complemented by "Le Poison Du Plaisir," a track previously included on the "Rotten Citizens Vol. 6" compilation. A great chance to catch up for those who missed it!

Suba (Kyrgyzstan) with ""Enchantment”  invites us into a slower, deeper state of movement: a Hypnotic Reverie. Drawing on hypnotic tribal rhythms, the track builds on the waves of percussive trance, a spell woven from sharp beats and drone textures unfolding. The first glimpse into our 13th Altered States compilation is a captivating call to the dance floor.

Millhouse (US) maps the thermodynamics of the dance floor with “Heat Exchange” to induce the state of Kinetic resonance. This cosmic Italo disco exploration translates the push and pull of energy into a tapestry of bassline and melody, resulting in a sound that feels both universally familiar and thrillingly new.

Sarv's (Palestine) "Shartan" evokes a state of Cathartic Resistance. A story forged by Sarv in a shelter under missile fire, the track is a powerful synthesis of Eastern Mediterranean soul: a driving bassline, the strum of a Turkish baglama, and choked Greek vocals that plead, “Help me, feed me, I cannot move, freely, dive deep inside the hive.” It is a dark, hypnotic dance between survival and creation, where ancient arches frame a modern struggle, and movement becomes an act of defiance.

SPEYS's (Poland)  "Breeze" evokes a state of Liminal Serenity. Inspired by a fresh spring gust, the track explores an appealing, undefined space between sonic landscapes. It is a cohesive musical ritual that captures the feeling of a gentle threshold, a moment of organic calm suspended between rhythmic definitions.

Jabba 2.3 (France) “What do i want” evokes a state of Sensory Alchemy. It begins with a vocal sample he long coveted, transformed through a slower, psychedelic lens. The introduction of undulating acid loops acts as the catalyst, turning the familiar into a trance of new sonic experience.

Misata's (Russia) "Crystal Error Memory" evokes a state of Lucid Recall. Inspired by the fragility and distortion of memories, the track uses a deep bassline for rhythm and sharp acid lines to create tension, perfectly capturing the sensation of a past moment surfacing with vivid yet altered clarity.

For the first time, Endrik Schroeder and The Hacker have joined forces. Their unique sounds and styles have combined seamlessly to produce a 12” that draws on their own musical histories. The title track pulls the listener into a darkened sweaty basement, a space where neon lights leer and quivering speakers vibrate. Melting elements of new beat and rave revelry, the track is bawdy and bold. Robotic samples cut through siren blasts, clean snare rolls skidding in thick basslines and creamy breaks. Two remixes follow, both care of fellow French producer: Back From The Wave. First up is the “Breaky Remix”. Adhering to the club origins of the source material, this remake sends melodies ever higher as drums lift elated lines to the stern refrain of “Emergency”. The “Indie Remix” closes.
