Experimenting with the mix, tried a few things here and there and I like where this mix is headed. I also tried to use a VST ampsim called Emissary by Ignite Amps instead of the POD and I must say, this is the best amp simulator I have heard so far. I usually need to do a bit of pre EQ and use stomps before the amp because my guitar lacks bite but I didn't need any of this with this amp. What you hear is the guitar straight into the amp, straight into the cab which is quite impressive.

The song is an old quickie I wrote a few years ago when I tried to make Superior Drummer presets, no idea what the idea means anymore and it is nothing groundbreaking at all but it was fun to play!

An original piece of music by Blake Robinson. A little ditty I wrote as a demo for Spitfire's Albion 3 to show that Iceni can pull off the softer side of the orchestra just as well as the loud. This is an unreleased demo recording of a song I did back in the days in the early 2000-decade. Techno/Electro Death Metal frenzy!

Didn't plan to release it under a certain name tag, but now it goes under Dead Silent Slumber, as that project reflected my more experimental music ideas.

Please note that this is a demo recording. The production has it's flaws, the performance is quite sloppy etc. But the tune is still alright, I guess!

DEAD SILENT SLUMBER "D-gital d-cay"

Started working on a cover of the song Admit Defeat by Monuments a few months ago and only recently stumbled upon the project again, so I decided to start working on it again! 

I did this cover not only because I love the original song but also because I wondered how it would sound played with major harmonies and happy stuff all over it. Lots of things to do still everywhere on the tracking and the mixing but I thought I'd share a cheeky little clip with you guys. :)

BIOGRAPHY

The story of Borders of Limbo started a cold evening at Christmas day, when the two best friends Simon Johansson and Jussi Barkefors started to jam with together. They both had shared a vision for a while, to create something new in the metal scene, based on emotional and melancholic songs/lyrics/chords, yet with a touch of harshness.
