It‘s been a while since I‘ve perform live in front of people. My last gig was in autumn 2022 at Stereobar. Years of experience, music knowledge, performances and sampling technique are all combine with a vibe to dance and to listen to. The beats gives visceral energy to move and It‘s also a blend of all of what I want to hear when I‘m dancing. It‘s a return to basic, to pure beats with a bit of house and techno and a lot of strange punctuating sounds to keep the listener aware. All music made are all composed by Charles Fortier and made for this live performance at Stereobar, September 6th 2024.

This epic 4 hrs recording, is part 1 of my 80 tracks "made to be" live compositions. Playing at 8 am in the morning of new years eve at the opening of the Stereobar nightclub is something special that Im very lucky and grateful for. I had a double mission: People needs to be captivated in music and also, they need to party more! So this set is for the day party people or the one that don't want to stop partying. It's an intricate set that starts with energetic dub techno influences but with minimals sounds punching every now and then to tech house. All my influences are in this set with all kinds of emotional sounds that are transporting me. With no rush for me to perform in that timeframe, my sense of urgency is less present and my sequences longer. Hope you enjoy part 1 live at Stereobar, part 2 is coming this spring.
