truly sorry, trudy (Part 1+2)

"Where the Grid Sinks" is a sonic diptych from baitong~xystems and I - 2 individual mixes consecutively recorded live at V2X radio, in Saigon, Vietnam days before Tet.

These pieces document an aversion to grid-based principles, canonical in graphic design, but also in sound production and mixes among other things. As a 2 piece variation, the patched up sound fragments merge, taking on a ghostly chapter of the web Junkspace.

We have endless gratitude for the V2X team, our We Do Good Studio friends, and the magical city of Saigon for providing the space for one of our favourite mixes. Nothing but a blessing to get to know the ASEAN regions.
