OK, time to mix things up a bit. "Remixing an original song by Atsuover that ISN'T FNF related?" I know, it's almost like I might be expanding my horizons or something (sarcasm fills the previous sentence). I really love the direction that Atsuover took with "Up to snuff", especially with the "burn out" themes around it. And so, before I get back into original work and other projects, I decided to make this remix, with inspiration from Zeroxx with their amazing “Making day” remix, so please check them out as well. It took a lot of trial and error to find the right synths to use, but I feel like I am happy with the result of the track. This will also be my FIRST time singing actual lyrics in one of my remixes, so I hope you guys don't judge me too harshly when I ask for some criticism. Enjoy!! So.... funny story. I wanted to do this cover for a long time since it came out, however with midterms and other projects happening during that time, I did as much as I could while focusing there.... then i got sick with a nasty cough when I started to work on it again... UUUUUGGGGGGHHHHH. Anyways. This cover was heavily inspired by my new found LOVE of "Metal Hellsinger"; this an FPS based in hell, where you play as a demon trying to get her voice back... and you have to shoot on rhythm. I LOVED IT, and after I saw Dokuro put up a new song that was metal inspired with the help of SynthV voice bank "Kevin", I knew I needed to make a cover of it. Not a remix though, I have alot on my plate atm. I thought of having my "screams" be enhanced by distortion as to not break me voice from all the tries I would have had to do to even make this cover, so this is what I came up with (god I hope it sounds good to you guys). HUGE shoutouts to DM Dokuro himself for not only creating this amazing song, but also inspiring me to even MAKE original music content in the first place. This is the song the result of me wanting to participate in the "Sunset Serenade" contest revolving around vivid stasis. Even if I didn't get into the game, I still wanted to pay tribute to the amazing game that it is. This was one of my first attempts to make a true "Multi-genre" style song, mainly as a light exercise as I am NOT qualified to make a multi-genre on the same level as Camellia, Trung-Nova or even A-Saph (shout outs to her btw). This was also my first visualizer fully done withing ZGameEditor in FL Studio, every other song was either rendered with a different program, or just enhanced by it. This song was a way for me to express how I beleive the story with Saturday has done with her and the story teller fusing as one, to how I think each character feels at this point in the story. I might not know what's gonna happen, but I am excited to see where things go. I want to also say, a huge thanks to all the members of Hajimeli. Whether you realized it or not, you have made a mark on rhythm game history. You have helped made a game that does what other paid rhythm games do, and in some cases exceed it. To everyone working on it, know that your efforts are not overlooked. Once again, thank you Cheryl, thank you Hajimeli, Thank you, Vivid stasis. May your lives be rewarded with support in various ways.
