Recorded in 1984 near State College, Pa. Composed by B. Fergus, performed by Tin Scraps. Recorded on portable cassette recorder. Sounds consist mostly of found objects and voice.

FLG - Firefly

This is a composition I recorded while the Everyday Prophets were working on the "Falling Up" album. It was intended to be used as a song intro or interlude between songs. Ultimately we declined to use it, so I played with it a bit more and have added it to my "Uncertainty Principle" album.
The recording was done with GarageBand using a USB interface for my Line6 PodXT Live pedalboard. All the other sounds were created via the internal sound generators of GarageBand.

Syzygy - The Kid

This is a song by the band I was in when I lived in Davis, CA, "Kilgore Trout." We recorded this along with 4 other tunes in a professional studio in Sacramento, and I think they all came out really well.

Kilgore Trout - Shattered

I wrote this song originally for Kilgore Trout, but we never got a chance to record it. The Group I was playing with several years ago, Studio H, recorded it in our rehearsal studio on a decent ProTools rig. For those who are interested, the main section is in 31/8 time.

Amethyst

This is another Ezra Pound Project composition. I was trying to make this sound British and regal, except for the vocals - I did not want to fake a British accent. Another one recorded in the studio at which I was working at the time - Walter Midi Recording in Portland Oregon.

This is a session I sat in on for a group I used to play with, the Nick Jeffries Project. Nick Jeffries is a singer/songwriter whose music has not as of yet been fully realized. This was one of many takes of this song over many sessions.

NJP - Allaine

I'm a guitarist/recordist from Portland, OR. I play "Reggaetronic" music with the band "Everyday Prophets," though I consider myself to be primarily a rock guitarist. The music posted here is a collection of non-band related recordings I've made over the years, both by myself and in collaboration with other artists. Some of the material is very strange and unusual, and other stuff is more mainstream.
