Maschinelle Bassimpulse und metallisch glitzernde Rhythmen malen die Bilder einer hochtechnisierten, nicht zwangsläufig irdischen Zukunftskultur. Pastellfarbene Melodienebel lichten sich in ihrem tiefsten Innern und eröffnen Ausblicke auf fantastische Naturlandschaften von organischer Perfektion. Mit einer surrealen Mischung aus Gedanken und Gefühlen erinnern die Groove-Geschichten von Katzengold stark an das, woraus Träume gemacht sind. Zusammen mit Lapaka und der Violonisten Alex Eigenseer schickt uns die Berlinerin auf zwei treibende und technoide, federleichte und melodische Tanztrips. Hinzu kommt ein wahres Füllhorn von Remixen,welche die betörende Tiefe dieser Veröffentlichung in den berauschenden Frequenzen von drei deliriösen Dimensionen weiter ausbauen.

Machine-like bass impulses and the metallic glitter of rhythms paint the pictures of a highly technologized, not necessary terrestrial culture of a far away future. Pastel-coloured nebulae enshroud us with emotive intensity, and when they lift we glimpse fantastic aerial views of a perfectly organic world. With their surreal mix of thoughts and emotions, the groove stories of Katzengold are strongly reminiscent of that stuff dreams are made of. Together with Lapaka and the violonisten Alex Eigenseer the artist from Berlin sends us on two driving and technoish, harmonious and uplifting dance trips. Extending these experiences, there’s a cornucopia of three different remixes that push the atmospheric spectrum of this release even further, taking us to three intoxicating, delirious dimensions.

Fruit d’une période de création entre les vastes horizons de Patagonie et l’intimité feutrée de son home studio, « Sueños » se présente comme un EP personnel et sensoriel. Composé de 3 titres, il puise son inspiration dans les rêves, les souvenirs de voyage et les rencontres sonores. Véritable carnet de route, le projet mêle enregistrements d’environnements aquatiques, synthétiseurs analogiques, rythmiques ciselées et atmosphères aériennes.
Une écriture brute et authentique

Avec « Sueños », Vouipe propose une écriture plus brute, puisant dans l’instantanéité et la spontanéité du geste. Les sons captés sur le terrain et sous l’eau de Patagonie s’entrelacent aux nappes électroniques pour tisser des paysages sonores aussi délicats que dynamiques.
