The highlight of the year! After more than eight years, the time has finally come: Boris Brejcha, also known as the Joker, is releasing his 10th album on his own label, Fckng Serious.
Listeners and fans can look forward to a very special musical collection. The album, which will be released on all streaming and download services on April 19, 2024, includes a total of 17 tracks plus 3 long versions of the previously released edits.
Since 2022, Boris Brejcha has been releasing his music again on his own label, Fckng Serious. Already in 2023, Brejcha gave us a glimpse into the upcoming album. His singles "Level One," "Space X (Edit),“ „Vienna (Edit),“ and "Dimension" have already given us a taste of this diverse album. And even in the new year, there was a preview of the highlight of the year. Boris Brejcha received prominent support from singers Malena Narvay and Leony, among others.
It was very important to the Joker himself that the album provides a deep insight into his musical work: "My album promises to be a captivating blend of familiar and nostalgic sounds, offering listeners a delightful journey through my artistic career." "Level One" reflects my entire musical journey and encompasses a variety of songs that showcase my unmistakable style while simultaneously paying homage to my previous works.“ We at Fckng Serious are more than happy to be part of this masterpiece. The album "Level One" is an important milestone for Boris Brejcha and us as a label in our musical history. And one thing is certain: Fans can look forward to a fusion of contemporary tracks, characteristic of Boris Brejcha's current music, and new compositions that harken back to the Joker's earlier periods.

Time flies. As we look back on 9 years of Fckng Serious, we’re overwhelmed by the support we’ve received from our community. As a special treat, each of our artists were allowed to pick tracks they believe are underrated and definitely deserve more attention. The time has finally come! The Joker himself, Boris Brejcha, unleashes his new single “Kick It” – a track that will make every techno fan's heart race. With “Kick It,” Boris once again delivers pure, electrifying techno vibes, leaving no doubt that this track means business.
“Kick It” had its debut during the Fckng Serious Bus Tour across North America, where Boris played it live in front of a sold-out Red Rocks crowd in Denver and at the legendary Coachella Festival. We’re kicking off the new year with a bang!
In November ’24, Boris Brejcha released his electrifying track "Kick It". Soon after, chess talent and techno artist Andrea Botez was inspired to create a remix. With the help of buskuwi (Alice Efe), a darker, more powerful version was born, adding even more depth and punch to the original.
Andrea Botez isn’t just a gifted chess player; she’s also making waves in the techno scene, recently playing at Berlin’s Ritter Butzke, where the "Kick It" music video was filmed. A close friend of Fckng Serious, she perfectly balances Fckng and Serious with her passion for chess by day and her skills behind the decks by night.
