You would expect that, as a musician, my greatest motivation was simply to make music. Well, that would be quite obvious, wouldn't it? As an artist I also try to understand the needs, the concerns and the current situation in which people and the world live. I believe that sometimes we need to be "Something Else" and approach things differently in order to change the environment around us.

Speaking of change, I decided to escape my comfort zone a little bit in this track. I just let myself be carried away by what I felt at the moment, so I think it's a very experimental track. However, I believe that it keeps the essence of Melodark - the balance between dark moments and harmonious melodies, the calm in the middle of the storm.

In the end, I think this track is really "Something Else". Literally...

Hozho is back with the first solo album of his career. Since the last album produced with Black Hertz in 2017 (Beyond the Horizon), the unique musical style of the Portuguese producer has evolved quite a lot aesthetically, with more minimalist details and a smarter composition. Having completed a North American tour and played at a slew of Ibiza parties across 2019, ​Brejcha shows no signs of taking his foot off the gas in 2020, with festival slots at ​OFFSonar​, ​Exit Festival​ and ​Docklands​ all lined up for the next few months.
Emerging onto the scene with the double EP release of ​‘Monster’ and ​‘Yellow Kitchen’ back in 2006, ​Brejcha has spent the years since developing his own style of music, coined as ​‘High-Tech Minimal’​. Marking his presence and big following Boris Brejcha showcased his incredible abilities with a livestream that caught big attention with more than 2 million views already! He’s now releasing nine new tracks only ever played on the live stream in two parts – this second part is called Cocoloco. The German artist incorporates dark techno tones, striking build ups, and progressive elements for a transcendent listening experience.
