Time flies. As we look back on 9 years of Fckng Serious, we’re overwhelmed by the support we’ve received from our community. As a special treat, each of our artists were allowed to pick tracks they believe are underrated and definitely deserve more attention. We’re kicking off the new year with a bang!
In November ’24, Boris Brejcha released his electrifying track "Kick It". Soon after, chess talent and techno artist Andrea Botez was inspired to create a remix. With the help of buskuwi (Alice Efe), a darker, more powerful version was born, adding even more depth and punch to the original.
Andrea Botez isn’t just a gifted chess player; she’s also making waves in the techno scene, recently playing at Berlin’s Ritter Butzke, where the "Kick It" music video was filmed. A close friend of Fckng Serious, she perfectly balances Fckng and Serious with her passion for chess by day and her skills behind the decks by night.
Look out for the remix at the end of January on all platforms, with an exclusive extended mix on Beatport.
