We’re kicking off the new year with a bang!
In November ’24, Boris Brejcha released his electrifying track "Kick It". Soon after, chess talent and techno artist Andrea Botez was inspired to create a remix. With the help of buskuwi (Alice Efe), a darker, more powerful version was born, adding even more depth and punch to the original.
Andrea Botez isn’t just a gifted chess player; she’s also making waves in the techno scene, recently playing at Berlin’s Ritter Butzke, where the "Kick It" music video was filmed. A close friend of Fckng Serious, she perfectly balances Fckng and Serious with her passion for chess by day and her skills behind the decks by night.

The inspiration struck on New Year’s Eve 2024—during a tense and unforgettable moment at the roulette table. That night, Boris and his friends were reminded that luck doesn’t always play fair. What ended without harm could’ve easily taken a darker turn. And that exact tension is what “16 Red Even” captures so powerfully.
