There is something that is rarely talked about in the business world and I want to start building more attention for it.

That thing is self-awareness.

I’m upset that the narrative these days is that everyone needs to be number one, own a company, be in charge. A lot of people are going to lose that way.

Self-awareness allows people to recognize what things they do best so they can then go hard on those aspects of their life. It also helps you accept your weaknesses.

What works for one person doesn’t work for everyone. I want people to learn to be at peace with themselves, to understand what they can offer, because everyone’s got something. The key, however, is learning how to find it.

Self-awareness can help you do that.

Self-awareness is being able to accept your weaknesses while focusing all of your attention on your strengths.

The moment you decide to accept your shortcomings and bet entirely on your strengths, things will change. Trust me.

PRACTICALITY. After finishing my&nbsp;keynote out in Dublin last week I was interviewed by some Irish press. In this one we cover the falsehoods of today's entrepreneurial landscape and the massive lack of practicality I'm seeing. Today, those who would've taken consulting gigs 10 years ago are starting businesses because that's the thing to do and it's easy to get money. But, what I'm concerned about, is what's going to happen when the money dries up. If you're not in because it's your truth you're not going to be able to make it out when things get hard and that's what worries me.&nbsp;  &nbsp;

The Lack of Practicality in Today's Entrepreneurial Landscape

So we don't typically post DailyVees to the podcast because a lot of the context can get lost without the footage but this one was special, where I&nbsp;decided to talk through my day to provide the necessary context for all those watching and listening. The theme in this one is patience and is dedicated to everybody with a ‘I want it NOW’ mentality.
