BORIS CHIMP 504 is an Audiovisual real time performance that emphasizes audio synthesis and graphical languages in a futuristic Sci-Fi aesthetics. It´s a real time interactive/reactive system between the audio and the image, between the man and the machine.


BIOS ::
Rodrigo Carvalho is a portuguese graphic designer living in Porto.
He graduated in 2005 (in Aveiro, Portugal) an in 2008 he moved to Barcelona to make a master degree in Digital Arts where he got in touch with a new world of physical interfaces, algorithmic videos, interaction, random graphics, reactive installations,…Currently pursuing a PhD in Digital Media in U.Porto/UT Austin Colab and research being focused in the real-time relations between sound, image and movement in audiovisual interactive spaces.

Miguel Neto (Lisboa,1979), musician, sound engineer and producer, has a degree in Psychological Sciences, having also studied Studio Recording and Advanced Music Production and a Digital Arts Master. Living in Faro, he is interested in creating musical interactive interfaces and exploring new musical languages, using computers and the new digital technologies.

Nowadays they are both very interested in the crossing between arts and technology and the relation between sound and image.
