We all heard about Atlantis, the legendary island that went under water in one day.
Did Atlantis really exist? The story of Atlantis came to us in the retelling of the Greek philosopher Plato. Or rather, from two of his works, Timaeus and Critias.

Plato describes Atlantis as a major continent. According to him, Atlantis was originally a rather bizarre place that Poseidon himself loved.
At the head of the state were kings who worked in alliance with each other, thanks to which the state was a powerful formation. However, 9000 years before the time of Plato, the Atlanteans became too warlike, which angered the gods. And they, as Plato assures, sent the state to the bottom.

Scholars say that the famous Egyptian pyramids, the statues of Easter Island, and the monuments of Bamyan were made by Lemurians and Atlanteans. The mystery of Atlantis is also directly related to the history of the more ancient mainland civilization of Lemuria.
