Dinosaur Shakedown EP

Unmastered - and only very roughly mixed. First in a series of lo-fi cover - versions I started in the end of 2021.
I wanted to put some time to improve my songwriting skills so i decided to cover some of my favorite songs from the 00s - songs that really changed me and where important to me at some point - this one helped me out of a toxic relationship.  To expand my learning curve - all 4 songs will be using the same sound sources and samples and all 4 songs will have to be finished within a week. The end result will be released as a limited free track bundle on bandcamp in the beginning of next year. Don't stay in toxic relationships - fuck co-dependency - love love!

SURVIVING CAPITALISM x OCHRE (BIF BOOTLEG)

The 3 songs on this record started out with a concept. No more than 15 tracks/stem could be used in the production of it. It was a challenge to myself (who likes to work with big choir arrangements otherwise) to focus  on the production and to allow myself to go minimal. All the 3 tracks work with the same synth for a bass-line and grew from there.

Personal and Global shifts in BIFs close surroundings inspired the lyrics. Most of all an argument with my right-wing leaning father lead to Dinosaur Shakedown an ode to end toxic masculinity all over the world and a kick in the butt for patriarchal creatures and the likes.

Gay harder grew out of resistance to that same male toxicity, the dinosaurs of this world elude and retain and is to be understood as an antidote. GAY HARDER!

Watch it burn grew from the urgency to act about global climate change - we have no time to loose.
