The song AFRICA IS THE GREAT is an inspiration song written to stir more patriotism, rekindle 
hope and strengthen unity among Africans round the world.The song carries the message that as Africans, 
we can fly, we can soar like the eagles, we can overcome whatever is limiting us by been united as Aficans. 
The inspiration to write the song came to me in 2005 when The National Intelligence 
Council of the USA convened a group of top US experts on SubSaharan Africa to discuss likely trends in 
subsaharan Africa in  the next 15 years. Those group of experts predicted that Nigeria might disintegrate in 2015.
That prediction sparked inspiration in me for the song Africa is the Great. 

The song was originally written for Nigeria my country but with time it evolved to be for Africa as a continent. I believe that African people, both on the continent and in the diaspora, have a common history, and a common destiny. Achieving our destiny will become possible when we love ourselves and stay united. 
The song was digitally produced in a studio in Lagos Nigeria.
