Standard Procedure

Bosco Stomp's dynamic style has roots in rock, funk, and jazz. Hailing from Baton Rouge, LA the southern laizzez-faire lifestyle plays an important role in their creative process. Bosco Stomp draws inspiration from the original New Orleans jazz and blues sound while incorporating contemporary songwriting. Clint Himel (bass) and Reed Guillory (guitar) formed Bosco Stomp's core in Gonzalez, LA before meeting Ben Bryan (drums) of Mandeville, LA and Colin Hyatt (vocals) of Sulphur, LA on LSU's backporch.

The strong and syncopated basslines form the foundation of the music, while the explosive yet swinging drums drive each song. The guitar's jazzy rhythms and harmonies are accunetated by the vocal dynamics that range from smooth to gritty.

The band's deep grooves and high energy guarantee an enjoyable live show for listeners of all genres. Bosco Stomp melds pop with jazz to give the listener memorable songs that also contain substance. Our aim is for you to enjoy the music as much as we do.
